Be sure your pet has no food eight hours before surgery. A small amount of water is permitted.

Drop him or her off the morning of surgery between eight and nine am. Feel free to call and check on your pet any time.

Dental patients and some routine surgeries usually can go home the same day, depending on the doctor’s recommendation.

If your pet is staying the night, hospitalization is included in the surgery price you were given. He or she can be picked up after 10 am on the morning of discharge.

Detailed post-surgical instructions will be given to you at the time of your pet’s release.
